Great advice for mums to be more mindful

Are you a mum who wants to feel more mindful in her life? Amanda from the Lilac Lounge has some great advice for mums to be more focused and mindful.

If you are like me, you would have experienced those moments when your kids have been talking to you and you weren’t really listening. They ask you a question and you have no idea what they have been saying. Mindfulness and being in the moment is a skill. It’s really hard to stay focused on what’s happening now, and not getting caught up in the past or future. It takes a lot of practice to be more mindful especially mums who are juggling a lot of balls. We want mindfulness to become a habit that we do automatically without thinking.

Being mindful –

  • Increases your ability to feel happy and enjoy life.
  • Helps you identify your emotions, improving self-awareness and your ability to communicate with your kids and those around you.
  • Reduces the number of times you get caught in the thought and begin to worry.

Another way to help you be more mindful is to get organised. If you have your to-do list written down you are able to stay in the present moment. Your brain doesn’t need to remember everything.  Grab my simple one-page planner to help you be more mindful and enjoy the important things in life.
