Hi, I’m Narelle a PE teacher, Yin & Nidra Yoga instructor and Wellness Coach for working mums who are always on the go, but the constant juggle of work and family commitments are leaving them exhausted and taking a toll on their health. 

 

I make it super simple for you to feel more organised by implementing routines to save you time and energy. I also help you to prioritise rest for both your mind and body through Yin and Nidra Yoga. Contrary to what we may think, time to rest is productive time. 

 

As a mum of two children, one who was diagnosed with autism 2 years ago, I’ve come to understand the importance of rest and making sure my cup is full to be able to continue to hold space for my son and the rest of my family.

 

I love nothing more than a good book, listening to a podcast, camping with friends, hiking huge mountains (not with my kids YET) and sunny days laying a local beach.

I’m terrible at leaving the house on time, I am always trying to do one more thing before I leave (I’m still working on this). I love to make lists and lists and more lists.

I know making this decision is going to bring up a lot worries for you. You're not alone so here are some of the most common concerns.

I’ve scheduled coaching sessions in the daytime and evening so that you can work around your work & family life. I’ll help you work out where you’re spending most of your time and help you to create space in your calendar.

Yoga & Nidra are only 30 minutes long and can be access anytime of the day making it ideal for busy women.

The Yin yoga sessions are perfect for all levels of fitness and abilities. Whether you’re starting out, have an injury or have practiced before I’ll give you options to make sure the practice is safe.

When you start I’ll give you access to 5 basic Yin Shapes to help you understand the basics of Yin yoga. 

Yin Yoga is a quiet practice that slows down movement and focuses on a spiritual connection with your mind and body.

Yin Yoga involves holding deep poses (shapes) for longer periods of time. A pose may last a minute or 2, or even up to 5 minutes.  By holding shapes your body’s tissues lengthen and release, leaving your muscles feeling as though they have been relaxed or massaged.

This practice can improve your range of motion and help strengthen and heal reoccurring injuries. Yin Yoga can correct habitual posture problems, leaving you balanced and in control. It also releases stress, worry and unease.

The slow movements encourage you to sit with your emotions and learn to accept them. The stillness in Yin Yoga is meditative and restorative. It offers a chance to connect to your mind, body and spirit.

Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based, conscious GUIDED meditation. The recordings are between 20-30 minutes. I promise it will feel like 10 minutes. Your body sleeps while your mind is awake taking in the guided instructions. It’s complete REST for both your mind and body.

Nidra Yoga is a great way to let your body rest and balance your rest-activity cycle. You get all the benefits of meditation, as well as sleep.

Practicing Yoga Nidra for just 20-minutes is equivalent rest for your body to an extra 2 hours of sleep. Getting to sleep and staying asleep is also improved with a regular Yoga Nidra practice. 

You’ll receive an email once you join with a password to access the online studio and a link to join the private Facebook community. Make sure you check your junk mail because your email provider may not know we are friends yet.

You’ll just need internet connection and a device of any kind to access the Simply Happy Mind & Body Studio. 

The recorders can also be accessed from my private Facebook community.

I’ll be holding the group coaching sessions fortnightly to begin with.

You’ll be able to join them LIVE using a zoom link. Zoom is an online meeting communication tool that allows us to talk online together. I’ll share simple instructions on how to use the platform.

We are quick to invest in our kids sporting opportunities, even new shoes that they need but when it comes to our own needs we put them last. By prioritising yourself you’re reinforcing to yourself how important you really are.
